About me

Hello! My name is Rob van der Burg and I am a designer and maker from The Netherlands, living in Germany. In 2015 I graduated from the Royal Academy of Art (The Hague), with a thesis on post humanism and the project Nova Eden. The project was well received and exhibited at multiple large events, among which Salone Del Mobile (Milan), Dutch Design Week (Eindhoven) and GOGBOT (Enschede).

After graduating I worked self-employed and at multiple companies as interaction designer, graphic designer, photographer, audio engineer, digital fabrication technician and workshop manager. At my last position, I worked as workshop manager for the Maakplaats 021 program at the Public Library of Amsterdam. Maakplaats 021 wants to make STEAM education accessible for all children in the Amsterdam area.

At the moment I am looking for an exciting challenge in the Bremen area.
